Have sufficient flow of applicants and gets filled up in 2 weeks time.
Last 2 draws have selected only 1000 candidates instead of 1500.

Though I am not even close to 470... but would really like to see a ray of hope as the scores go daawwwn... ;D

for the last 3 draws, the number of people between 453 and 470 are multiplying by the day. Soon I am guessing it is gonna be very tough to go below 470 for the rest of the year if not forever. Sad but true.

I believe that they have fixed the minimal CRS at 470. Also, I think that the influx of applications with 470+ score is less than 1000 per 2 weeks.
Therefore, the score should be 470 exactly, and number of applicants between 900 and 1000.

Another possibility, is that they skip this week entirely to have a neat pool of 1400+ applicants with 470+ score by next wednesday and issuing ~1000 invitations with ~475 score next week.

I think it is not the applicants between 450 and 470 that increase, but the applicants who get nominations increase as most of the Provinces are on verge of completing 2015 quota giving nominations.

The time duration's have also increased now....its take around two weeks now for the next draw....considering the last two draws which were at the end of the months were after 23rd...So lets hope it gets announced soon... ::)

I read this on a newspaper that Canada will allow in almost 20,000 more immigrants this year than the number that was planned for 2015. This is the first immigration plan from the new Liberal government led by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

While the focus of recent Canadian immigration policy has been on Syrian refugees, there was concern that this would adversely impact the number of immigrants from other categories.
However, this has been allayed by the report, as Toronto-based immigration lawyer Ravi Jain said, “If one is going to make some parts of the pie bigger (refugees and spouses and parents), one either has to reduce the size of the other piece of pie (economic class) or increase the overall size of the pie itself.
“The government has chosen to increase the overall size of the pie.”

If the above is true.... Can we expect the score to come down drastically?

Misleading and half-baked news story. Economic immigration targets for 2016 have been revised downwards by nearly 20%. Ravi Jain is just doing what one would expect most immigration lawyers (and used car salesmen) to do - paint a rosy picture which glosses over the disturbing facts.

last 3 4 draws were around 1230 to 1330 utc. Just stating the facts. It is kinda fun though to keep checking that page to see the score. I'm doing that as I write this :)

Thank you for clearing this up..

Once agggain I am forced NOT to trust these immigration lawyers...so misleading....

We are on 461. We should go to over 470 at the end of the year when my wife's work experience increases. Very frustrating looking at the CRS requirements history and knowing we would've received invites for most but the last few draws... must just be patient...
