hello. im planning to apply this year just want to recheck my points.
i need 2 yrs of work experience to be qualified.
Is it necessary that all of your jobs lasted for at least one yr? or its okay to have at least 1 of your jobs to last for one yr?

my first work lasted for 10 months (nurse, hospital A).
and my 2nd work for 1 and a half yr (nurse, hospital B)..

i resigned November and transferred to hospital B november also.

will it be equivalent to 2 yrs( even if my first job did not last for 1 yr) ?? thanks

It looks like you meet the full time definition but to be sure you need to check your hours.

Hello,
I am a RN in Nigeria and recently got my licence from CRNM. I want to apply for FSW in July and am looking for a hospital to employ me in Winnipeg. Please can any one in the forum link me up to a hospital that is willing to employ and provide HRSDC. Thank you.

Hi Friends,

Finally I have landed in Toronto on April 6th. Been busy with settling for some time now. It is already a month here and I am liking the place. Myself and my husband are going to PCPI, YMCA and such govt sponsored places to take some sessions on resume, cover leeter and to know the general job market here. Still looking for job but not found one yet. Online applications I have made quite a few. Maybe I should go the placement agencies and try.

On the CNO front the second set of forms (B1,B2, B3, B4 and A4 ) all they have received March end 2012. So waiting for the assessment, which may take I feel atleast 3 months. Just want to take up some job for now. Hoping to get one soon.

So ena I am here.

I want to thank all my friends ena, faithyou, FARPADANA, Olga64 and vidya and all of you in this forum for all your guidence. I wish you all sucess in everything you do. Thank you.

Good day guys, me and my wife is currently preparing our documents to lodge our FSW application. My wife is the principal applicant, an RN with 3-years experience as ward staff nurse & 1-year experience as head nurse in the hospital's pedia ward.I am an IT graduate with master's degree but I'm not really picky on work so It doesn't really matter where I end up working. We are planning to land in Vancouver, specifically Surrey since my wife has relatives and friends there.

I just want to ask what are the steps she needs to do in order to become an RN in BC. The way I understand it, we need to lodge our application for FSW first(obviously). After that what is the next step? Should she apply for SEC assessment then or apply for assessment through CRNBC first?

Seniors, members please advice on how to give name in CNO registration application after marriage, when all our certificates rn registrations in India are having fathers surname, after marriage even though we changed name in passport, given the old name in fsw application should i follow the same name in cno RN registrations or use my name followed by spouse name, members please advice.
thanks
all the best to all !

I just want to tell you what my agent told me. she said that the number of experience will be counted by year and the months will not be included. example you worked in a hospital for 1 year and 5 months, your experience will only be counted as one year. that is how she reviewed my docs.

hi, i just want to tell you what my agent told me about counting the years of experience. she said that it is counted by year and the months are not included. you cannot add the remaining months from hosp A and Hosp B. that is how she reviewed my document.
