hi kanebo! cno does not require us to submit tor from our first course because it is included in the nursing tor. i've come to know a few pinoy nurses who are eligible to sit the crne. do you know avhiecasis in allnurses.com?she took her exam just this feb. she does not have masters degree or any second degree but was eligible to take the exam.according to her, she really worked hard on her BET and she thinks that it's a big factor why she was considered.

To the second coursers who applied in Ontario:
Did you submit the Verification of Course Completion and Transcript Request Form to the university or school where you had your first degree (non-nursing)? Parang wala akong napansin tinanong nila yun at any point sa initial application form nila.....

hi, it actually depends on their evaluation..ive read a post before the has 5 yrs of exp in the Phil and was granted eligibility. Mine is only 2 yrs but obtained here in New Zealand.

I started processing the requirements needed for CRNe like the application form that must be filled up by PRC, my school. Am just waiting for my visa so I cand send my crne application. Im reviewing right now for CRNE until Feb 5, 2011

do you know how many years does ielts expired for COLLEGE OF NURSES IN ONTARIO?
what is the maximum length of IELTS that CNO accepts?1 or 2years? coz im planning to take ielts now..im afraid that my ielts will just expire.

My wife received her eligibility to sit for CRNE yesterday . she had submitted her application for general classes less than 3 months ago.
she studied 4 years in nursing and 12 years before that. she is graduated from Iran hand hold BS Degree in nursing.
in her package beside eligibility letter there are other forms to collect work experience and license verification as well as application for sitting in CRNE .
but my application is still pending although I have summited my application and documents first.

because they taught i didnt pay..LOL..then they emailed me this february telling
me to just return my package coz they now find out that i paid.. ;D so yeah..
it will took me 6months to wait for it..oh well..patience is a virtue
focus on positivity..

another query : i read in the ielts forums that CNO does accept an IELTS score eventhough
you got 1 band score of 6? is this true? coz i read in the ielts forum that someone called the CNO
and asked them if they can accept her IELTS score because it is near their required IELTS score?
and CNO accepts her score even with 1 bandscore of 6?

Hi, I had my credentials assessed by CNO even before starting to apply for my visa.. I am currently in the process of my visa application. I had just received a letter from CNO;

In addition to meeting the program requirement, the CNO has determined that you must also meet the following requirements to obtain registration;

Provide evidence that you are canadian citizne, or a permanent resident of canada or that you are authorized under the immigration and refugee protection act of canada to engage in the practice of nursing

About the IELTS Score,

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.5. The minimum scores required to demonstrate reasonable fluency in written English on the IELTS are 6.5 in listening, 6.5 in writing and 6.5 in reading. minimum score of 7 for speaking.

so the most critical part is assessing our education..wheww..i thought our work experience will
add points for our application..
what kind of visa are you applying for?coz if its immigrant..it might take you about 2 years right?and you cno eligibility might expire?

you have to provide IELTS result later not for the assessment. once you got the illigibility letter then you may submit it.
she was not ask for a BET since her education satisfied the CNO.

thank you..ive been reviewing for ielts now and planning to take it next2 week..lol.
i thought ielts is a rush requirements..so i alloted 2 weeks to leave and just to review and
take the exam..but thank you for this info..somehow i can see things clearly now..
