Hi Sja, I got my IQAS certificate this afternoon. I applied for an assessment last September. If you will apply for an rn registration in Manitoba then you have to go through IQAS. You have to comply the requirements of IQAS.sja said:Hi All,
If RN assessment result points to a bridging program , can we apply for RPN registration?
In that case , Is any option to get the assessed docs from CRNBC /CRNM for RPN assessment .
Kindly reply
Thanks,
Sja
Hi, i think you will be eligible considering your 10 yrs of experience.FARPADANA said:I am a registred nurse from Iran currently registered in Kuwait. with BSN degree.
I have sent application for General classes to CNO October 15, I recieved an Notification email that the assessment proccess will take 12 weeks by which they will sent me an official assessment report.I have 10 years nursing experience.
my concern is my education status cuz first I graduate from Anesthesia and recieved associated of science degree in Anesthesia in Mecial University, then I bridged to Nursing and studied two years in Nursing school after which I obtained BS Degree in Nursing. both Nursing and medical university forwarded my transcript and Request for verification of education forms for CNO.I am wondering if I could be allowed to take the CRNE rightaway or bridge program.
In Iran we have 12 years pre- university education.
meanwhile I am waiting to be passpoert requested. sent my medical September 15.
Assessment will take a while. And with your year of experience, it is very likely that you will have to take the bridging program.kheemooy said:
Hi there.. I just moved here in brampton, Ontario last Nov.4 2010.. I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and I had 1 year hospital experience, i just resigned last Oct.25 2010.. I just submitted my application to the CNO for general class and also the form which my school will fill out.. here are my concerns:
-how long will the assessment take?
-is my 1year of hospital experience enough so that i won't have to take a bridging program or refresher course?
-and does the PRC respond immediately? since we all know that government offices in the philippines are slow so this is also my concern..
i hope you reply... thanks a lot..

I believe they wont notify yet you can write and ask them if your documents were completed. the assessment process takes up to 12 weeks.kheemooy said:question lang.. will the CNO send a notification email once they have received my application and my other documents?? will they update me regarding my application status??
about the bridging program, how long does will it take for those like me who have 1year of experience?
