Hey guys,
I started my PR app through express entry 2 years ago and became a permanent resident late 2017. Now, I'm helping a friend with her express entry application do the same, but her points seem low to me. She got 412 when she did her express entry application and 442 when both I and her plugged her language test results in the CRS tool. So my question is can the CRS tool overestimate your points? Or should it be a perfect match with the Express Entry calculated score?

To me it looks like she's not getting the 30points for having in Canada. Could this be a glitch?

My friend would fall under CEC:
Mid twenties
4 year bachelor degree in Canada from a Canadian university
1year experience in NOC A job in Canada.
CELPI 10 10 9 7

Thoughts?

How did you answer the questions on Canadian education.
Wow, wasn't expecting a reply that fast. Thank you!

She did it by herself. She's insisting that she answered yes for the Canadian education question.(Also sent me a screenshot). Admittedly she did it wrong the first time, withdrew her application then redid it correctly but score is still at 412.
I haven't been able to meet in person to go over her application since we do not live that close to each other.

If she answered yes to the question "was more than half the study program English or French as a second language courses", she will not get the points for her degree.

Aside from that, assuming she did do the application correctly, there's no reason to have a big difference in CRS Score vs the actual Express Entry Score, correct?

Which crs tool calculated your score? there are many versions in different websites. I wonder if they all show the same result?
Have you used the official one?
