30 Day deadline for medical after ITA?

Hi All,

Got my ITA on April 25th and dead line for final submission of docs is in July. When I’ve called Panel physician today they said they cannot do my medical as I am past 30 day from my ITA. Have anyone faced this?

If yes what is next step to do? I don’t want to decline ITA unless it is the only option.

Please advise.

Never heard of this...try a different Panel Physician

It's an upfront medical you can do it any time...has nothing to do with ITA ..

Thanks for the response medwiz. I too was surprised to listen that. Office Assistant said earlier this week she had another candidate ask for extension as he too missed 30 day dead line. I am following all the forums from beginning and never heard of this.

He is only physician near our region, so I don't have much options. Wondering what is the process to ask for the medical extension and how long it may take? I have to submit all my docs by July 25th.

Again never heard of a medical extension and I'm pretty sure that doesn't exist anyway although others here can give thier input...

Your other option would be to decline ur invitation and get re invited providing ur score is high enough..but again stressing here that when you do medicals has NO relation to when u receive ITA...in fact it makes sense to actually complete ur medicals as close as to when u want to submit your application to have more time before the medicals expire

You can get your medical done any time before July 25th and attach the receipt and IME form that they would provide you. No such 30 day limit.

Can you ask them to give this is writing? After that contact IRCC about this issue on twitter.
There is no such rule. You can do your medicals anytime within the 90 days period, before submitting the application.

I will ask them. And by chance do you know what is the way to reach to IRCC Incase to request extensions. Phone number outside Canada is not available. Is webform only way?
