3 years Degree and 3 Years DIPLOMA in Electronics and Communication Engineering

Hi Guys,

Here is my Study Background :-

10th Std - 2005
Diploma in Electronics and Communication - 3years - Nagpur, India
Bachelor Of Engineering - 3years - Nagpur, India

Basically, Engineering is 4years course but i got admit in 2nd year of B.E. directly because of my diploma

Now, What to select for CRS/WES from below options

1. Two or More Certificates, Diploma or Degrees. One must me more than 3 years
2. Bachelors Degree, (3 or more year)

Please let me know i fall under which category and i can select 1st one, what all docs need to be submit @ WES?

You can select your category based on the ECA Report Summary. First you will need to register on WES site to generate the checklist of documents that would be applicable for you. Meanwhile, if you want to check the list of documents, you can find it here http://www.wes.org/ca/required/index.asp?lctryid=2.

You can check the Canadian equivalency of your degree using this tool http://www.wes.org/ca/evaluations/preliminary.asp?

Nobody can tell you which category you come under. Depending on the country you completed the education from and number of years, Wes will decide how they evaluate your education according to Canadian equivalency.

I fall under the same study background.

First you need to do WES, Submit your diploma and engineering transcripts in one envelop with a cover letter which mentions the details of transcripts you are enclosing.

You should select Two or More Certificates, Diploma or Degrees. One must me more than 3 years.

I have seen WES reports in these cases and these are assessed as bachelors degree in conjuction with diploma. so it a degree both combined together

3 years Diploma in Information Technology and
3 years Bachelor of Information Technology (Which I got in at 3rd year because of my diploma).

I have a similar case but with a different question. We are from India. My wife has 3 year engineering diploma (computer science) and a 4.5 year engineering degree (electronics & communication). Now while we were doing the preliminary assessment, we could not find any options for the diploma engineering from the drop down list @ WES website. So does it mean that WES wont do assessment of engineering diploma from India?
