3 months Work offer and CRC points

I'm getting 3 months offer to work in Canada through work permit. Will it be helpful to get 600 points?

U would need LMIA to claim 600 points.

I guess No. A permanent job offer supported by a LMIA is required to get 600 points. Yours seems to be a contract.
