3 months since sponsorship package sent, no correspondence, is this normal?

Hi, we sent our spousal sponsorship package almost 3 months ago, and haven't received any mail back, is that a normal amount of time to hear nothing?

One other question, do we have to wait until the government sends us mail with a case number in order to be able to order the GCMS notes?

Yeah you’ll probably hear very soon with AOR or file return. No need to request gcms notes already. Wait at least 6 months so you can read something useful in the notes, and yes you can’t access your file before AOR.
