I called cic they said they can't tell me it's approved as I only applied in may. The decision made with no email is worrying me

Just a quick note... they seem to send out emails in batches. For example we got the SA email day 5 days after SA was actually granted (as per the email). By the time we got the SA email our file had already been forwarded to the visa office.

Don't worry too much about the email. Before sending a refusal letter (negative answer) CIC would had ask PA for interview or ask to send more relationship evidence etc.
Except if CIC found out big criminality history, misrepresentation or fraud. So if you don't have criminal record and filled the form truthfully it will be a positive answer.
