Im Pak student in UK. I applyd for student visa for Sept session which was refused due to not well explained study plan & mismatch of study course in Mohawk clge. Last month 2nd tyme ire-applyed with detailed study plan justifying my course of study with a job offer letter from my father's grup of companies in UAE. But the VO has rejected due:-

(a) to insufficient funds
(b) family ties in canada and in country of residence

Although i ve handsome fudns in my personal saving account in uk plus my father's strong financial status in uae since 35 years.
I dnt understand what does mean family ties in canda and cuntry of residence whereas im on student visa in uk expirng within tw mnths tyme. Plz advise me should i make 3rd attempt thru a canadian lawyer in London. Is that OK plz. Request for ur urgnt advice as the time is v.short

Hello,
I have a query about bank statement. If someone is applying from UK for a Canadian student visa with a different nationality ie Pakistani is it necessary to show funds in UK?or will Pakistani bank statements be sufficient as well?
I am a bit worried as i have read this on CIC website.

" What is acceptable evidence of funds in support of my study permit application?
Proof of funds can be in the form of your bank statements or your parents’ bank statements accompanied by a letter from your parent(s) confirming that they will be financially responsible for you. All funds must be in an account in Canada or in the country of your current residence. Funds located in off-shore accounts are not acceptable as proof of funds. General letters of reference from banks are not sufficient. For more details, refer to the CIC page on Proof of Financial Support. "
