2nd stage form HELP!

So I've made it to the point of stage 2 application process, and filling out the "application for work permit made outside of Canada" form is a bit confusing.

1. "country of residence"- I am Australian, but have been travelling for 9months outside of Australia and currently under visitor status within Canada. Should I say I'm Australian for my residence or where I am currently living? Also it asks for status, I would be a visitor within Canada, or an Australian resident?

2. "Country where applying"- I'm guessing that will be Canada, but just want to be sure.

3. "current mailing address"- My address within Canada? or my Australian address? I have put down my email address but not sure what they are wanting.

I know I will have to exit and re enter Canada to be printed off my open work visa. But is there any other information I should be aware of with applying in the 2nd stage??

If you are currently in Canada even as tourist, you should put Canada as your current country of residence

2. "Country where applying"- I'm guessing that will be Canada, but just want to be sure. YES. but make sure you will mail in your application to NYC consulate.

3. "current mailing address"- My address within Canada? or my Australian address? I have put down my email address but not sure what they are wanting.since you are putting your email address, either will do that is address in Canada or Australia....any seniors her please correct me if I am wrong

In the email I received they gave me the option of applying online, so i was going to do that option so it shortens postage time.

You must have a mailing address in Australia (may use a family member's address). "
