2nd EE profile when PR application is already under process

Can I make a second EE profile when my application linked with first EE profile is already under process and about to reach 6 months mark?
I am PNP/CEC and note that PNP applications CEC score is going down and CEC applications are processed much faster but PNPs are on hold at security stage.
By having another profile, I can go with CEC application and withdraw PNP after I get ITA.
Any suggestions? @legalfalcon

No. You need to start by withdrawing your PNP application. As said above, you can't have two EE profiles at one time.

But i heard that they will not process the second application untill they finish first.. is it true?? @legalfalcon

The only guidance available is from IRCC's manual which is for citizenship applications and it states:

CIC has an obligation to avoid duplication of work or unnecessary costs in the processing of an application. Unless a client specifically requests CIC to process two or more applications at the same time, all applications will be held by CIC until processing on the initial application is completed. Applicants are encouraged to submit new applications only if they have new facts or evidence.

Now given that the TR to PR is a new pathway, with different standards, IRCC should make it clear. I am aware that this questions has been asked and as soon there is an answer available, I will share it. Waiting for a response from IRCC.
