2nd Attempt for Study Permit (Chances)

Hi All,

I applied for study permit but was refused saying "PROPOSED PROGRAM IS NOT REASONABLE IN LIGHT OF PREVIOUS STUDIES AND WORK EXPERIENCE"..

Profile 10th 80%,12th 68%, B.tech-65% IELTS 6.5(NO LESS THAN 6). work experience -6 years with no gap.

Got Admitted at HEC Montreal for MBA program and I am unable to get an answer to the above objection as the MBA program entry requirements are below
Average work exp-7 years and 32% of the class is from Engineering background. So, I cant understand this situation.
I have added a SOP this time..what are my chances???

Your profile is good, u can't understand why they refused ur application first time.
In which field u were working
In which sector if MBA did u applied for ?

I worked mostly with IT companies including Wipro and currently working as Finance officer with a Educational firm (MNC). The MBA is general in which I have to decide the specialization after few months after I start the program and MBA is a masters degree which can include applicants from any field .

I dont know how does I get a reason that Program is not reasonable in light of my past studies and work ex. Infact the truth is my profile is exactly the same what a B-school requires. Its really frustrating getting refused after 6 months of application and selection in the MBA course at HEC and scoring good at GMAT.

Do one thing, get letter of support from your university in which u have applied, ask them to write that Mr. Xxxx is a bonafida student and we have offer him admission after carefully assessing his application. His previous study and work experience is completely revelant to our program. Etc etc

what i think is if you would have submitted a strong sop stating why you want to do this course and your future plans and your past .. you might have had a visa ,You should go ahead resubmit it with a strong sop

do you think universities provide such letters to the students ? what if we students request such letters on our first attempt from university ,would it be beneficial then ?
