And usually how long after the updated status, should we expect the PPR email? Is it always the same day?

I got "Updated" twice after IP2 on 227, one on Mar 1st and another 20th Apr, however it seems PPR is still far away. And ideas about that? I submitted a web form request today try to find some official clues.

I got a ghost update on 11th April and again on the 13th, but nothing happened ever since. I've called CIC since then and they said my file is undergoing additional verifications.
I was really hoping I was just days away from PPR when I saw the update.
