Hi everyone,
My ielts scores are lrsw 9 9 8 6.5 and overall 8. I was very confident that I will get at least 7 in writing but unfortunately I did not. Should I go for a recheck?

Firstly, amazing to nail a 9 both in L and R.

As far as the EOR is concerned. ..GO FOR IT.
Given your scores its worth taking a risk

Thanks for the appreciation and suggestion. I will go for it then

Any possibility of success in listening eor
Hi.
In my opinion , I usually wouldn't recommend EORs for L and R unless there is a dramatic difference btw the scores
( expectations and results )

I knew i was hanging at the cliff with a doubt btw 34 and 35 seeing the answers that were being discussed here....
So there is no point of paying 9500 for an EOR for the 1 mark which i very well might not have written correct.

The only reason i suggested that you can try for EOR is

1. Its just a matter of 0.5
2. Your scores in the other sections are really good.
3.incase an increase of 0.5 occurs..it might well seal the deal of IELTS for you once and for all.
4. There are 'n' number of ppl whose W score increased by 0.5 after EOR
5. So i felt , you may give it a try. If it works...well and good...if not you will have the satisfaction that you've atleast tried taking a WISE risk ( though the cost factor hurts !! )

This is the same that i suggested to another person in the group ( ramanbhatt)

But my questions were matching with the questions discussed here in thread..

If you seem so confident and feel there is a drastic decrease in you L score then go for EOR ( provided your bands in the other parts are good .Otherwise dont.) The risk is totally upto you.

Guys go for EORs ( esp if W is 6 /6.5 ) only if
the other parts of your score are up and above the required mark.
Also , double check , within how many days later will you get your revaluated scores.

Otherwise , seems a costly risk
