Noooo. The marking criteria for Writing and Speaking for both is also same, which is prepared by cambridge university. U can have a look at Band descriptors for writing and speaking by cambridge university.Then why is the furore all over the youtube...which is easier IDP or BC ... seeing that i thought the exam is different. But now i understand that the Internet is divided because of the way marks are awarded for writing and speaking maybe.
Also am quite surprised to know the price difference between the two.
For my centre it shows both idp and british is 13250 as the exam fee. Am unsure about the EOR for both

*BC and IDP have just responsibity of conducting exam.

My doubt was ....why then is an never ending debate that one is better thab the other.
My understanding was that ..in L and R there is nothing much anyone can do...but people have a divided opinion because of writing and speaking evaluation thinking one particular organisation is a little considerate and not that strict etc.
That depends on examiners from both organisations. I’ve seen many people score 8.5 in speaking from IDP and BC. And 7.5 in writing from both.Well i know that the marking criteria...test pattern rules etc are all the same.

Btw i gave my ielts acad in 2014 from BC and got an 8.Opinions on this are usually divided like writing task 2. Those who got good score in either consider them easy
I wrote it from idp this time.
Dint know abou the EOR difference.
If incase i need to re-write then i will go with BC.

Previous I got L 9.0 R 6.5 W 7.0 S 7.0 overall 7.5
This time reading went well... but listening
This time I struggle with MCQ. When I got 9.0 in listening, at that time there were also MCQ’s. but this I’d say it was super tough mMCQ’s like Academic ReadingOkay. Is this your 1st attempt ?

I took coaching classes from an institute in my city. I also followed some online tutors as well.would you mind telling me how you prepared for the test?
I have seen the worse..this time listening was easy compared to my last attempt..yes, i agree it,s just luckExams have different difficulty level
