Application reached on 31st December. Last man standing in the queue. :'(

I applied on the same NOC 2241.

Waiting like this is killing

Btw, I saw in another thread that completeness check for December applicants seem to be done, as few of the December applicants' applications were returned to them saying their applications are not complete. (a 22nd Dec applicant's application was returned on 16th Jan)

So can we take it as all of us are still in the game? at least until our CC are charged?

Yes , I guess the same because almost all of the incomplete apps are returned. The next stage is CC/DD charging. For candidate Freya_XM they took almost 3 months for PER.
For another candidate from same NOC vanish.777 , its now 86 days and he hasn't been charged. Would be nice to get his feedback after 90 or 95 days.

I guess you are talking about me, cos am down 85 days since I sent the application, if so its not 'vanish' lol am vish.777!
And sure guys i will update asa I hear anything!
It is quite annoying they are taking so long to work on our NOC.

I have 18 years of work exp in telecom engg. And currently working as senior manager, but I have Hanson previous exp. on telecom testing and configuration. I have applied under NOC 2241 category as I work on 4G telecom technology. I have applied through a lawyer and I was curious to know if there are any fair chances for my application to get selected. How long does CIC takes to reply.

Chirag, It depends on your job description. As long as the duties concur with those listed in the NOC description, you are good to go. As far asa response from CIC is concerned it varies a lot. Some members on this forum have been waiting since more than 80 days, whereas, few some have got their CC charged within 60 days. On an avergae, it looks like it would be atleats 60 days before hearing anything from CIC.

My work experience is Also related to telecom industry. I have been working as an RF Engineer for last 6 years. This NOC was our only option. Now all depends on what you mentioned in work experience letters. The way you related your past experience with NOC description.
18 years is a lot. good luck.
It will take maximum upto 3 months to reply to your initial App.

Best of Luck to you too ! I have not yet received any information yet and so I was a bit worried. As such my formal designation currently is as a snr. manager, however it is in technical domains and so was bit worried if my application would get approved or not.

Please share your exp. and thoughts about it.

When your App reached CIC office? if it was after Nov 14 than U have to wait a bit. At least 3 months after your App reached CIC.

For managerial position is think your best shot was to apply for "Senior managers – financial, communications and other business services (0013)". Have you discuss this with your lawyer. Well, I am not an expert. still you app is in the right categ. Mostly telecom professionals are using this NOC to file there Apps.
