Is it true that 2173 - sep 4 has returned because of document missing or something whereas it is not cap filled reason.

Anyone has read the post ?

I can figure out another reason for CIC not returning 2173 CAP filled packages. Maybe they create some buffer in case some charged applicants cannot pass PER. Since they could not be sure how many people will fail eligibility review, they should be conservative and keep applications at hand.

But thats a luxury for CIC.. What will happen if they return PER by Mid Jan.

And I have applied for EE assuming I am out.

Also I would have got a DD for Jan EE and sent it.. So both might be encashed ?

Hi there. Yes, this is true. A friend of mine, got his app returned for app date 4th September. Check page 9562.
I too was sept 16th applicant.
It's EE for september folks now.

I read that post. I am August 22 applicant - 2173.

If that return of application Sept 4 is true, then we all have chance and in the race.

its been sleepless nights since 2 weeks back, waking up in the middle of night for every sms.

Nov 10 is that disastrous monday, when so many 2173 and 2171 reported cc charge, ahead of the FIFO application dates

I can conclude that in the 2173 cap was reached in the middle of Sept 4th. From my review of the forum now ( check the page of Sept applicants) I found two cases that support my conclusion :
1) one application got to the CIO on Sept 4th and the applicant received an e-mail (based on an inquiry he sent to CIO right after sending his application) that his application was found incomplete --> this means he undergone c-check
2) another applicant who arrived same day Sept 4th got an e-mail saying that his application is out of cap !!

this means that half of 2173 Sept 4th applicant were in and the other were out ?

Many of us are worrying that August-2173 apps may be out of cap, I have one point to make --

Even though fee dedication for post August-12 applications is not been done yet, the other part id also hold true that They are also not have been returned. Whereas Sept 22 application has been returned. So August application still have chance.

So keep your hopes alive. Hope yo see you all in Kannedda (Canada in punjabi accent ).
