any news on 20th draw ?

looks like the new minister is also not in mood to lower the bar below 450 .... :(

Looks like he is not in the mood to do a draw. Usually the draw is done at 12:30 (or thereabouts).

Hope I'm wrong.

I think he's in the mood of not going below 489. 3 weeks no draw for sure next draw will be above 500. I hate to say it but that's the truth. I'll probably book a one way ticket for now ;D

If the new minister is going to work this way, i want chris alexandar back asap !

There are already enough of these speculation threads for this draw, do we really need another?

I have an important information :

chris alexandar took the draw system with him (it's a buttom he has to push on it and it works only with his fingerprints) :P :P :P :P ;D ;D ;D.... Just joking

Call in RCMP forensic team and search for his fingerprints on every item he had touched!

Looks like there's no draw today. It's already 4:00PM in Ottawa, and it's also Friday. The new minister might have something to surprise us.

Well another day gone, more disappointment/pessimism and cynicism about the new government from myself and I dare say many of the members of this forum. I really hoped that there would be a draw today and now I don't think there will be a draw until 20 November.

I say that as I think given that this time next week is Friday 13, there might not be a draw.

The hopes and dreams of all would be Canadians (which seemed bright when a new government was elected) have been crushed yet again. :(

Don't forget the Liberal Party made a promise of 25,000 Syrian Refugees by January 1 2016 so don't be surprised if EE and Old CEC be suspended until.

Well, then the only way to stop the influx of Syrian refugees coming to Canada is to fight the ISIS (root cause). I suggest we found the EEAV army (Express Entry Applicant Volunteers), with at least 40,000 strong, we can finish off ISIS in 5 months, still have plenty of time for new draws. (j/k)

I'm not one to normally enjoy jokes about current real life situations, but I had to LOL when I read that. Good one, nice way to lighten the mood on this rather saddening day. Fingers crossed for something soon everyone.

Going off-topic: How do I add info in my profile? Like signature, info on the left hand side, etc. That would make it easier to show my timeline and CRS points rather than typing it everytime. Thanks.

Aren't draws usually later anyways?

The government is not gonna stop CEC and EE to focus on the Syrian refugee crisis, they have an initial investment of 200 million USD for refugees, they'll make real quick work of helping Syrian refugees and have em here in no time.

The Liberal party hasn't promised changes when it comes to the frequency of draws and the number ITAs for EE, I'm expecting 1500-2000 ITAs biweekly to be the standard for the duration of the program.

That being said, some of the promises made will modify the EE program whether directly or indirectly:
- Removal of the 1K fee for LMIA.
- Changes to CEC helping Int. Students
- Introduction of new CRS points granted to applicants with Canadian siblings.
- Investing 175 million dollars over the next 4 years to improve CIC processing times.

Y'all need to stay informed!

Thank you for the optimism on an otherwise bleak day.

How ironic (yet satisfying) would it be if at least some of our dreams came true on 'Black Friday'?
