I wrote an invitation letter to support my mother's visitor visa. I had the slightest hope that someone may magically click a button to generate an ecopr for me when they looked up my profile. Now, my mother's visa has been approved, and I am still waiting for ecopr.

Congratulations on the visa approval! At this point, it looks like IRCC is purposely mocking us by not issuing eCoPRs.

I called ircc yesterday and asked about my vpo they said Primary is Ottawa, SVO Montreal but ecopr issued by etobicoke

December is the slowest month. It's completely normal. Don't stress over it too much. Give them a call in Mid-January if you don't receive your BIL/MIL!

Is it really true they have numbers to release COPR by year, I have seen in discussions? But I have heard once your application is approved you already allocated a number.
