Sounds good! Same here. I think we are in same boat but yeah I’m yet to order GCMS note will probably do in couple of months

Question- files which usually goes to CPC ottawa, is it goes only for security screening purposes, cause my agent told me, just because you lived in NZ for 2 years (studying and working at the same time) your file might not get faster compared to people ive seen they have only 6 months of processing time for PNP applications. One more reason im thinking of is that they have five eyes alliance, so they would gather all the information from respective countries, could be the reason of slow progress. Any thoughts/ advice would be much appreciated. And if anybody like me has similarity let me know your timeline as well.

For me it took couple of weeks before I got my P1.(I have only lived in India) However, please note that Holidays are coming and already there is huge queue for e-copr that might delay your portal1. It would be hard to guess and generally security take 3 weeks to 1 month if it's not comprehensive screening.

Me and my buddy almost applied at the same time, he applied early on may and mine was almost end of May, he went to india for vacation and he said he received portal request on 29 Nov, my infor sharing still not completed yet and security has not been started, that makes me a bit anxious and frustrating at the same time, thought to wait for Christmas end and will apply for GCMS notes. Hope everyone get portals soon.
