i think you can travel if u have valid temporary permit and stamp on your passport. but as soon as you get the ecopr ( if you r in india at that time) you will need PRTD to travel back to Canada.

or i suggest to ask a lawyer just to be safe from your end . if possible just postpone ur plan .
Thank you much for the advice

Portal 2: 31-Aug
eCOPR: 10-Oct (40 days)
PR card: 3-Nov
Did the mail get delivered to your mailbox, or did you have to sign for it?

Also, did you link your PR Card application to GCKey? If yes, how many days did it take from "We have mailed your card to you..." to you getting the card? Thanks.

I received the PR cards for myself and my son through mailbox. I did not even receive an e-mail from VO Montreal about it. I also did not link to GCKey.

Even when I was waiting for PR 1, or PR 2 or COPR... i did not call or e-mail them. I just waited. For my case, it is just a matter of waiting.

please see this he is saying u need to inform IRCC

He is talking about a scenario when you have PR application in process and you leave Canada BEFORE you get the Portal request (where you ack that you're in Canada).
If you complete the portal request and then travel - you are good to go. Just need PRTD to come back if you get COPR while you are outside.
