During election, some MP's were busyThanks I was wondering if yours like mine was ignoring locals from his/her area. I'm glad yours helped.
Going to them is going to do nothing

Hello did you get your ecopr? What you say might be true.
However, it is not election season right now. My research on this is some nasty MPs in safe seats have a bad habit of ignoring contacts and not helping anyone at all. I followed up with my MP's office for almost 3 weeks - 2 emails and a phone call. Then thought of going in person, and looked up the office address on Google Maps. OMG the reviews on her office, she literally has one star, and people mostly Canadian citizens blast her office for being so rude and not assisting when they asked her office to reach out to departments like CRA or other welfare agencies, most of those Canadian seem to be in more acute problems and situations than me.
I felt very bad for the affected Canadians and for me I requested an MP from a nearby locality whose office has nice 4.5+ ratings on Google Maps, I was lucky they helped me.

No portal 1 email as yet, does anybody have a similar timeline? and how long do I have to wait?
No I have not, If your question was to see if MP contacting IRCC leads to PR approvals, I would say often No that is very rare unless the application app is very poorly managed by the VO. In my case the PNP 8 month timeline hangs a curse/reason why IRCC can put my file in a backburner and I feel even MP will come and tell me the same reason. But hey no harm in trying right which is why I reached out to the MP. As of now I'm happy chirpy about everything about IRCC.Hello did you get your ecopr?
Did you call and check if yours is with RROC? I have read in this thread itself they follow a sequence and finish the 2 weeks of application and are with May applications now as those are in the 5-6 month of aging. If your AOR being july if your application is with them they might pick July applicants in a month or so. If yours is a different VO they try contacting them calls, Webforms etc.. once the 6 months is overOh i see. In my case just waiting for the ecopr and that is for 50 days now. In what stage is application now?
Oopsie I didn't realize a fellow April applicant, oh your is the ECOPR delays after the both the Portals gotcha. No I'm not there yet. I've been left hanging from may.No i didn't. My AOR is April and got the portal 1&2 last sept. How about your application?
Oh shoot.. so your application still stuck in that stage, i thought you were in the portal stage already. Anyways best of luck to alll of us.Oopsie I didn't realize a fellow April applicant, oh your is the ECOPR delays after the Portals gotcha. No I'm not there yet. I've been left hanging from may.
Lucky you, mine are the slowest and laziest of all IRCC losers - CIO Sydney and CPC OttawaMy VO is in Montreal
You’re probably right, although it may depend a little on the individual MP. They can’t approve anything or bypass the IRCC, but they might be able to get someone to look at a particular file. Mostly though, I just want to indicate my dissatisfaction. Taking 40+ days to process a digital document is unacceptable.MP follow up yields nothing
Just have to wait
Landing team is super slow
Totally agree with you. Photo and mailing address is not that complicated to deal with. You’re probably right, although it may depend a little on the individual MP.
