2022 PR application timeline

Hi,
I have submitted my PR application as Protected Person on 30 May 2022. Until now I didn't receive any application (X) number or AOR. Is it normal?

I submitted pr application online July 20, and until now I didn't receive temporary application number. Do you think I have to call them?

We are on the same page... I applied on 30 May 2022 and nothing after that.

I have posted my paper pr application on June 10 and the post website says that it has been received in 13 June but i haven’t received any email from immigration yet ! It’s about 2 months now and I’m worried that i didn’t recived the AOR yet ; is this normal ?! Should i do anything??

I’ve just recived the email that have the temporary XG….. number on it

I have submitted my PR application for me and my family on 30-May-2022 as protected person. At that time, only I have my notice of Decision and my family got their Decision on 1st September 2022.

Do I have to re-apply PR application for my family based on the Decision. As I already paid their PR fee along with my application.

No. You dont have to reapply, you need to submit NOD for your family and explain why the timing..

Hi, submitted passport for PR stamping in Saudi VFS on 29Aug and still waiting to receive it. Any idea how long is it going to take? Passport in London is the status shown on tracking site and it’s been 6weeks now.

I applied online on may 5th and get an mail on June 2nd says they got my application. No news so far. I have a temporary application number starts with X. Can I see the application process ?

you can try to remove the x that will be your application number

i wouldn’t even bother trying because it takes 7-8 months to start the processing of application

Friends, I have been waiting for so long and finally have new news: Applications received on August 5, 2021 Passed the physical examination on October 11, 2022

Did you have to go through medical examination or you’re exempted ?

(Today) October 12th,2022 - I got an update saying I cleared medical ( This might be because of the new medical exception rule they passed for in land applicants) and also I could see my Bio-metrics updated in the Application.

Can someone say what is that X number , is that AOR that you guys mention or its a different one.

There is a number number top of the AOR starts with X. If your application is connected, you can see the status of your application ? Did you apply online or paper ?

I have applied through online only , but in the letter I am seeing the application number starting with E ( which is my EE application number).

I got this letter named as - "Acknowledgement of receipt - Application for permanent residence"

"This letter confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada was received by Immigration,
Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) through your account on August , 2022.
We created a file for your application. The application number is located in the upper right-hand corner of this
letter. You must quote this application number each time you contact us"
