I just found out a few days ago when my MP called IRCC that my pr application is non-routine. This is my timeline
Applied PR by Mail: September 21, 2022
AOR: January 2023
Linked Application: January 2023
Additional Doc Request : January 2023
Eligibility and Pre Arrival : November 9, 2023 - Requested GCMS Notes: Jan 18, 2024
Received GCMS Notes: Feb 19, 2024
Final Decision:
Portal 1:
Portal 2:
ECOPR:
PR Card:
    • Eligibility passed
    • Criminality passed
    • Medical passed
    • Security not started
    • File being processed at the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga
  • Immigration Agent stated File is non-routine therefore processing times do not apply
is anyone on this thread experiencing this or have experienced this and gotten there PR. How long did it take after eligibility passed?
After you pass the 25 months they must make up new arguments like none-routine or any other bullshit reasons to let you wait longer.

Dear Forum,
I am a protected person in Canada. My spouse, my daughter, and I are currently in Canada, but my son, who is under 21 years old, is still in our home country. We applied for permanent residency together as a family, and recently, the three of us in Canada received our eCOPR from IRCC. We also received a pre-arrival letter for my son, and IRCC has informed us that the next steps in his application will be processed through the Canadian embassy in our home country.
My question is: regarding my son’s application, do we need to take any further steps, or will the embassy contact us? Also, could anyone share their experiences with similar cases, especially regarding how long the processing might take?
I would appreciate any insights. Thank you!

When did you apply for pr? And when did you get the pre arrival for your son? Please share your timeline

It appears that PR applications with dependents overseas will be shifted to the next year.
I applied on October 7th 2022 ( Ontario)
PAL on January 2023
The Criminality is in progress
The Security Not started

25 months were passed and the security was not started. This is a bullshit.
