Just check with IRCC again, my file is still waiting for security and criminality to pass.
This has been for 6 months, is that normal? Please someone help

Just received a PFL (Procedural Fairness Letter) from IRCC. Anyone know the best course of action for me? How do I respond to them? Got 7 days to publish something before a final decision is made.

Hey guys,i heard from my friend from now on in TR TO PR if any document or information is missing IRCC will not ask any ADR they will may be directly refuse the application. Is that true ? please join this discusion its very improtant

I fall into same situation when my status expired. Did quickly all needed and applied for restoration. Confirmed Sunday morning. All took 30 days and 500$...

You can't be approved if you are out of status.

The only option I can think of to try to fix your status at this point is a TRP (temporary resident permit). However processing times for these generally seem to be extremely long right now and I think it may be unlikely you hear back before they make a decision in your TR to PR application.

Assuming your TR to PR application is refused, then your options will be to either leave Canada or to try to apply for PR through H&C.

They are informing me that I do not meet all the selection criteria. Specifically, I currently do not have a temporary resident status (long story) and did not submit IELTS at time of PR application. I sat for the test last month and submitted the test report form last month when they requested it from me. My job right now is to make a compelling argument to sway the officer's decision and lean towards approval of application.

Do you mean that you are out of status in Canada right now? If so, then your application cannot be approved.

When did you fall out of status? Are you still within the 90 days to restore your status?

Scary to hear that but who knows they sent me letter before 3 months my OWP and status expire saying all good, no documents needed, we will process ur file asap... and i froze awaiting portal...and nothing! up to last day. I waked up and understood what happened after week after my status expired. Thanks God and my friends i found ways to submit restoration app in 30 days ...so actually the even can give <wrong> message not just to keep silence about any docs they possibly need. Try to call them asking if anything wrong... so hard our way...
