Mine has been pending for a long time...and now I've gotten PR.My wife got it in two weeks.
TheFor me initially it was None. Because there were no messages for me when I linked. I haven't received AOR either. So, it stayed none until my first ADR (imm5669) and then it changed to read afterwards.
Same here, it's almost the anniversary since my last update, a 5669 ADR.For me initially it was None. Because there were no messages for me when I linked. I haven't received AOR either. So, it stayed none until my first ADR (imm5669) and then it changed to read afterwards.
Keep in mind that you will need a proof of address if applying online because this is where they will physically send your new SIN to. If I were to apply in person, I'd always choose to apply at the place where I actually live. So Montréal might not be the best place. Just my 2 cents.I want to apply for my SIN. I am temporarily in Montreal, but TR2PR is for outside of Quebec. My destination province is NL.
Do you think I should do an online SIN (15 working days' timeline), or do a SIN in Montreal (instant) or Ottawa (outside of Quebec)?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
The numbers in the last 2 sentences seem to be in line with IRCC’s announced 2022/23 Budget released at the beginning of this year. All this means for people who have received an AOR but nothing further (& also those still awaiting the start of processing/linking/AOR) is that they could be part of the remaining 9000 budgeted to receive PR before year-end 2022, or they may be part of the 32,000 budgeted to get PR in 2023. Let’s hope it’s early in 2023! Best wishes.Just read snippet in PDF document on website . Not sure how to interpret these numbers in context for those who got AOR and nothing processed after!!

My residential address is in the new province, NL. The address has been changed on my bank accounts, credit card accounts. This proof of address was an ADR and the bank statements were used as proof.Keep in mind that you will need a proof of address if applying online because this is where they will physically send your new SIN to. If I were to apply in person, I'd always choose to apply at the place where I actually live. So Montréal might not be the best place. Just my 2 cents.
