Does anybody have an idea of how long does it take nowadays for background check for PR?

Depends if it’s enhanced or not, varies from 2 months to 2 years
I am stuck by myself in background check and eligibility since March 4.
I passed medical and got pre arrival letter in March 4

Medicals passed February 2021
Sent an ATIP request in April 2022
Got an ADR on May 12 2022: Schedule A + Police records + re medicals, which we sent on June 10
Passport request letter on August 12
VO Bogotá, Colombia (but I am from Ecuador).

I'm april 2021 applicant already passed medical, criminality and eligibility and stocked on security, I'm really sick of the way ircc works nowadays.
Who knows, no one can tell.
I am August 2021 applicant. My son is almost 15 and I do not know if they ask him to do biometrics
Sent ATIP Request on Aug 15 through CBSA,
Received Pre-Arrival Letter Aug 20
Waiting Invitation for PR Portal and Further instruction........
