After months of waiting, decided to apply again via new IRCC portal in Feb 2023
Within a week, my parents 2022 application got approved.

I'm tempted to follow suite but my hesitations are based on the last web-form response i had received. 11 months is a long ass* time to wait. I might send you a PM sir. I'd like to be guided in my re-application thoughts)
Applied for my step daughter in November 2022 from Peru and have not heard anything back from them as of yet. Wait time right now says 121 days but it has been more than that at this point. Both my husband and I are absolutely heart broken as we were looking forward to seeing her this February during her school vacation and now won't be able to see her until July if the decision is made before then.
Can you elaborate a bit on that please - what is GC key, what is the new portal, did you have to pay again, etc.?
