Guys anyone know how much time it takes to get CoPR after final approval.

AOR MAY 6
BIL AND MED 28 JUNE
ELIGIBILITY PASSED 1 AUGUST AND RPRF
RPRF PAID ON 3 AUGUST
BIO EXEMPTED OCT 13
BIO REFUND NOV 13
FILE APPROVED 28 NOV FROM VO OTTAWA
Now have been told to wait for CoPR email from local VO.
Since I am in TORONTO, it should be Etobicko.

Any idea when should i expect CoPR??
Why dont u raise a Webform and ask them, or may be contact etobicoke directly, I think you can do that.

Yes, but there will be a big portion of agents on vacation too..

Not true. I had a call with them today to find a status of my web form and was told that the webform department have hired more agents to clear out the back log as there is a delay of 2-3 weeks in responding to the web forms.

Well, if that's the case overall, nothing better!! However, I do hope it's not just the web forms response department..that would be a bummer.

Just think, why the hell would you take vacation time now in the peak of the second wave of a pandemic, middle of winter, not even being able to travel... Like I said in the other thread, I surely won't. So I don't expect many people to do.

Not sure about government, but I know in many private organizations if you don't take your all your entitled vacation by the end of the year, you lose it and can't carry it forward.

It depends on how much time you have.
My company, for example, allows you to carry a week to the next year and will pay the rest if you still have extra hours.

Nope. Vacations are carried forward next year but sick days and POD expires by end of year. So process is that for example 2018 vacation would carry forward in 2019 and expire by October 2019 and new vacation added on 1 Jan 2019 would carry forward to 2020 and expire by October 2020. I guess you need to double check with your HR if your inland.

My VO is CPC Ottawa. I have passed checks and I am hoping for final approval before the end of the year but it is looking unlikely. Fingers crossed.
