For those who know, does the PPR come before DM?

I am still waiting for that letter that I mentioned over a week ago, which we believe might be the PPR. I feel like it might be holding up the rest of the process.

I passed my medical exam on the same day the letter was sent out. Either way I'll be sending the reply via next day delivery.

Normally it take a few weeks between the medical exam and the approval of this one. It would be surprising that you get copr same day that you pass your medical. Pre arrival is more logical. But who knows with cic....

I've had AIP and SA, passed my medical exam and then they sent out this letter.

If anyone is still waiting for their CSQ, I called them today and they are processing applications received in January now and said March would be in 2 weeks.

This is getting frustrating, especially seeing all the non-QC sponsorships being approved months ago. The CSQ has been delivered for 5 months already and nothing since from IRCC. We’re at 11 months total processing time... definitely going to contact our MP by the time the processing time of 12 months is officially passed

Call them and make sure they tell you what it is. They can see it. It happened with me when they sent me a letter asking for additional info once they started a security check. I called them and made sure they told me what was the nature of the letter and then received it 10 days later.

I hear you! I'm 15 months in. I passed everything and still waiting for final approval.

Just the toll free number and you will have to be patient the wait time is minimum 30min and no call back option

Exactly, same here, over 15 months have passed and we have no clue and no update after medical.
just to set an expectation, MP letter can help after the 12 months are completed, but it is not going to get you your PR next day.
of course when MP call or write a letter on your behalf, it wake them up and expedite the next step and then they sleep again on your file!!!
This is very unfortunate that this only happens with QC applicants, because we have no one to take the ownsership.
all other provinces’ applicants got their PR in 6-8 months and we are in our 15-16 months and still waiting for AIP/SA/DM etc!

We are almost at 28 months . We receive pre arrival on may 21. When we called them two weeks ago they told us eligibilty is done on pr side and they put jully 20 for due date for the 'final review'. We reach out again our MP ( for the third time ) becaus we want him to expose to cic that that my husbands work permit expire on july 24 and it add more psychological and financal stress becaus we need to renew the permit so close to the end of the process. They told him we cannot garantee they are gonna have an answer before july 24 so its better to renew. I cannot believe how inhuman they are. Is it realy hard to take a decision for someone who is waiting since march 2018 ???
