hope you all good .
i did received my pr card in a week after my pr card approved.
July 7th landing by telephone. CoPR letter.
July 16th pr card approved.
July 20th Monday PR card mailed to my home.

Guys, just received SA as well... So, in my case AIP and SA are issued on the same day (today).

What is next? and how long it takes (normally) for the next step?

Congrats !!! We also receive both the same day back in dec 2019. Normally you should received DM soon if i look at other people. It was just not the case for us. Good luck!!

I saw your previous post. I strongly suggest you to file a mandamus to the court. They would normally finish your application within 30 days.

Just google 'mandamus canadavisa'. Lots of people have done that. It's the nuclear weapon to avoid situation like this. And a lawyer is not required. Best of luck.

I'm in my 16th months now. When it reaches 20th month I will file mandamus too. Will keep you guys updated

Ok i'v read a little bit about that and I dont know if I will go on with that. We should have done that before aug 2019 becaus NOBODY was working on our files and we had no communication from them for a complete year. But since aug 2019 we have constant communication from them . We received all the important letter , SA AIP PRE ARRIVAL and redone medical last week. Medical was approuved on july 31. So i think that this time we are really near the end.
I will keep calling them .
In a couple of week if nothing change maybe I'll go on with that.... But as they just approved the medical the day AFTER the clinic send the result , I'm gonna wait...

Mandamus doesn't mean that you will go to the court and hire a lawyer. It's sort of a way to scare them and most of the time, your case will be settled before the court date.

Also I think what's dragging your case is the security screen. Background check consists security and criminality check. And for most people security is just a rough security check done by the ircc. But for some people. It's security screen , which means other departments are involved, like CBSA. It could delay your application to years. There are people who went through security screen for years and filed a mandamus, and they won even IRCC said that it wasn't their fault, it was the CBSA's. But the judge ruled that they are not the clients of CBSA. So it's IRCC's fault to delay the case.

I am sorry I didn’t mean the landing interview. Other interview if they want to get some clarification or once we get AIP and SA we have passed that stage ?
