Good news. I spoke to MIDI yesterday and they told me that it’s been 2 days we are working in your file and you will be issued one soonHey tayrg, got my wife's csq arrived by mail 15 Aug 2019. I have collected some information on that. IF she is a visa national (citizen of one of those country which need visa to enter Canada) then she needs to apply for TRV (Worker class) from within Canada and she will get a new TRV with the same validity as her OWP duration. then she can travel for a Short trip (1-2 weeks) along with her OWP and TRV (Worker class) + Work Dox (e.g, Employment letter, paystub, etc)...I am sponsoring my wife. I was wondering if she can travel outside the country while her application is being processed if she already holds a 2 year work permit?
Thanks for the info. I am going to call the call center as well to confirm the whole thing. She is of French nationality which does not require a visa to come to canada. That should makes it easierI have collected some information on that. Experts recommend that under any circumstances it is always wise for the Principal applicant to come back to canada with her/ his sponsor. but remember, If for any ABC reason, CBA Officer refuse her entry back to Canada, Then there will be consequences. Her Inland application will be cancelled and she will have to go back to her home country and start the whole procedure from start as Outland applicant.

I know maybe my timeline isn't the normal from what I've seen from others, but I can share it anyway.
PR app received: Feb 13th
AOR: April 2nd
OWP returned to me same week as I missed a payment.
OWP resubmitted same week ( I can't remember exact date)
CSQ Request: April 12th, submitted April 13th
Started Processing Background Check: June 8th
OWP Received in Mail: July 19th
CSQ Received: July 16th
AIP: August 8th
Medical Request August 8th
Medical Completed: August 9th
SA: August 13th
Medical Passed: Aug 22
When I submitted my CSQ, it was still when MIDI were actually taking 2-3 weeks to process them. We called them up after 8 weeks to ask what was going on, and were told it was very unusual to take so long, and the next week it was approved. (Then took 2 weeks to arrive in the mail)
After I received the CSQ, I left it 2 weeks, then called up IRCC just to confirm they had received the document (During this process I have learnt never to assume anyone will receive anything), they confirmed and I was told the process should be very fast from then on. Next week I had AIP and medical request.
Maybe not every time, but I think calling them up in my case has helped move my file along faster than some others, as I am aware my timeline isn't exactly the norm.
Another thing to note, we have had much more luck calling IRCC when we go through the French options! No idea why, but shorter wait times and much more helpful people on the other end.
That sounds fantastic. In our case, after sending the CSQ (April) no more news. Nothing has started. No fingerprints, no eligibility check or anything. I called them about two weeks ago and they mentioned that since we are still in the 12 months period, the center cant do any follow up on it. The situation is a bit strange I would say, considering that our application was received in December 2018. However, I have decided to just take it easy because worrying a lot cant solve any problem.I know maybe my timeline isn't the normal from what I've seen from others, but I can share it anyway.
