Received invitation email on 7:12 PST (10:12 EST).

My submission time was 12:05:45 EST and email was received on 13:16 EST.

As everyone is invited to apply, let us be optimistic that they will process all who qualify.

Good luck to all of you.

Just received, the invitation, good.
But in 2018,I got a new baby, and I was in parental leave (RQAP) for 6 months. Now, after doing my taxes for 2018 I fell short by 1100 cad below the income needed to I support my family 3 + my 2 parents.

Question: Given that 2018 has damaged my income history, should I need to wait until 2019, 2020 or 2021 to qualify abobe the income threshold? Even if 2017, 2106 and 2015 I was OK with the income?

Thanks in advance!!
If it is only for 2018, cannot you include rental or business income to make up that threshold. You can discuss with someone having good experience in income tax.

This may be a dumb question... but in form 5768 No.14 we have to provide employment (and unemployment history for the past 3 consecutive tax years. However, the first line of the form says from YYYY-MM-DD to Present. If we take "present" to mean the day we sign the form, how do we calculate the Gross income/Benefits for that period?

1) I am self-employed. Calculate how much gross income I made until today?
2) My husband is a salaried employee, but currently on parental leave. Does he calculate how much he was paid by his employer until the day he went on parental leave? Or is parental leave included?

Also - I was unemployed and on EI for a few months in 2017. Would the payments from EI that be included in the Gross income/Benefits?

In any case we meet the income requirement for sure and they can verify that with CRA, but since we have to provide details as well, I'm a little concerned that the info we provide would not match up to the exact dollar and cent with what CRA will have on file.

Also, should Gross income/benefits include investment income as well?

TIA!
It is convenient to use CRA MyAccount that has all T4s from each company you worked for each year.

Unfortunately you don’t qualify for 2018. Do you have a co-signer? If not yes you will have to wait 3 more years.

It seems my province has a different minimal income, instead of C$68,358 for 2018 is C$65,425 for the last 12 months. Wonderful!

Yes, sorry I fortgot that little detail.... the process is diveded between Federal procedures and Provincial ones...
Yes only those living in Quebec have a different requirement from the rest of Canada.

Quebec is special. I like to think Quebec is not really part of Canada.
