hi if I apply as a child caregiver , can I take my 3 children with me I m Uae based . Will I be eligible to apply PR if I do two year child care job in Canada . I read over cic.ac that 30 hours in a week should be necessary . It means 6 hours a day can I get employer easily ? . can I choose province as per my convenience? Is there any need to show proof that we can handle children?.k don’t have any job like that .. my situation is I have three children out of which last one was delay in speech and had some Behaviour and sensory issues I have studied books and have been doing his therapies in UAE and from my home country for two years I have also done three courses which are online from university of newbunsbik unb , done 40 hours RBT training and soon will register for BCBA RBT test..also done ABA foundation course .. my motive is proper way of immigration actually..Can I buy property on temporary work permit ? Can my children attend public school for academics ?

Hi everyone,
I just want to ask how long does it usually take before you get update from your status online. Cause they received all my coc last sept 6 and until now my status still shows that they are waiting for my additional documents which im pretty sure i sent it all already. Just feeling anxious here cause my visa will expire this December and I haven’t received my extension yet. Was wondering if i should give them a call or should i use web form. Or if it’s normal that it takes longer to get an update should i just wait.. thank you

Pre arrival email means you passed the eligibility that CIC(=IRCC) requested. I have received my pre arrival email and medical exam requested email at same day.

April 3 - received email from Dafont Showbox Adam4adam CIC about pre-arrival letter, medical exam, police certificate, and extension of work permit.

I want to share my timeline under interim pathway. I checked my documents are received 26 August, and I am looking forward to get AOR.
I hope somebody (who sent documents at similar day as me) share their timeline.

Hello,

I applied for the Interim Pathway as a child care caregiver. I applied in my same application with my husband and his son. We applied for a OWP for him too.

My timeline is:

May 22: I sent my application;

May 27: they received it and got the AOR;

June 15: They ask me more info:

- ECA (I sent a copy I was waiting to get it);
- Police certificate (husband and I)
- Evidence about our relationship (photos, email, everything we have)

July 24: They received all my evidence and extra documents;

After that, I didn't get anything else from IRCC.

We are waiting for my husband OWP and more requirement like Medical test or biometrics.


I love to have a forum about this Pathway, share info - timelines and help people.
