Hi, May 7th applicant here. We got AIP on Jan 24th, SA on Jan 25th and DM on sponsor's side on Jan 28th. However, ECAS still shows "in process" for PA and myCIC says background check is in progress. It has been a complete silence since January. Anyone in a similar situation? We tried calling CIC, but they say it hasn't been 12 months yet...

I received my gcms notes today and Unfortunately it is no help to me. It has some of the pages blanked out which I am assuming are regarding security check update. My application is stuck at this point. Did anyone else got similar thing in their gcms notes.

How long between online status update and this email? Mine shows decision made today but does not confirm positive or negative.

I don't check online status often.
Last time I check was a week before we received both email!
But nothing was shown at that time.

Just landed at the Vancouver Office today, it was pretty straight forward. They asked about my sponsor how we met, criminal history if any, deportation history if any and verified initial date of entry and last date of entry.

Hi all.
Some good news. I got my OWP today.
And I got questions to ask from you guys once again.
I am the applicant and I have a 18 yr old child (from ex wife). He is included as my dependent The problem is I cannot enroll him to school before as I am not qualified to do so.
My question now, can my son go to school if I use my work permit?
He is currency living with my ex wife somewhere in GTA
