I saw the news from CIC, it seemed at the moment, they are focus on students' visa, that's why anything in-land is slow now.

Hi!

There is no outreach regarding the OWP. The only way I knew mine was accepted was by linking it online choosing "Temporary Residence" for category and "work permit and extension" if I recall correctly. Then from there I filled out Family name, given name, and date of birth. I'm sorry it was a little while since I linked it so it might not be exact.

It's something that the CIC does...don't go by that date. Go by when it was actually received (so March). Yours will come.

You´re still within the 6-8 weeks that stands for the AOR processing times, so give it a little more time. Sometimes people get it faster, but don't be discouraged by that. All the applications are being done by all different kinda people, one faster than the other. When it exceeds the 8 weeks, it's time to make a call with CIC

Kind of you to share thank you....but you mentioned here date received for Work Permit Feb 26th?

I mailed the application on March 2nd, it was received March 5th but the OWP stated 26 February 2018, interestingly 26 Feb is also the date I paid the $255 fee online and the date on my receipt, but it could be a coincidence.
