Hi, I think we are the same timeline. I sent my app with owp on Jan 17, and received aor on Feb 19. Now is still waiting. I checked the shared timeline and found some people on December last year had received their owp in recent days, like Apr 5 or 6.

Hi, it's the same way to link your owp like app, but choose the owp or work category, sorry, i can't remember the details. But it took me three or four days successfully to link the owp after i linked my app.

Thank you, did you use same application number on AOR to link your OWP? I used "LastName, FirstName, DOB" and " LastName, UCI number", but none of them work.

Category: Temporary Resident

Sub-category: Work Permit and Extension

➡︎ Use UCI and Family Name

➡︎ Do NOT enter anything in the town/city of birth and Country


Enter Passport Information:

↳ Passport Number

↳ Country of Issue

↳ Issue Date and Expiry Date


Details of intended work in Canada

Type of Work Permit: Open (Initial Application or Extension)


Personal Information:

↳ Current Country of Residence: Canada

↳ Current Marital Status

↳ Which situation applies to the applicant: Applied for permanent residence as a spouse or common-law partner in Canada

Yes it looks like they are still getting through December apps OWP. Some people from Dec 11th don't have theirs yet, but others around Dec 20s do. Fingers crossed for us Jan apps!

That discrepancy can be explained by the office that is processing the application. If the OWP application was returned or sent after the PR application was filed, it is sent to vegreville office while if you send the OWP with the PR application and you filed them corrctly, then they are processed by the Mississauga office. From what we know, vegreville office processing is faster than Mississauga by 2-3 weeks.

yes that is very true. Vegreville is processing apps in January now. But I am talking about December apps all with Mississauga office that are sporadically getting theirs. It depends on the agent that is processing your file.

If the main applicant has appointed the sponsor as representative, who will receive AOR? Is it the main applicant or the sponsor?

My application was received on Mar 13th too... Waiting to hear.
