My application got returned, I missed the signature on my OWP and translations of some documents. My visitor visa expired and I’m still waiting for the answer for my extension. Should I wait the answer or should I sent my application back asap?
You're in implied status meaning you're legally residing in Canada. My application got returned, I missed the signature on my OWP and translations of some documents. Thank you so much. I just called them few minutes ago and the lady said that either file might be returned or might get transferred to Mississauga. I hope they transfer to Mississauga after giving AOR ,atleast then my spouse will be able to apply for visitor extension.Hello, this situation may perhaps best be dealt with by calling the IRCC Call Centre (1-888-242-2100). Perhaps explaining the issue may help in finding out if you can do anything else from your end to remedy situation, or if they can tell you what typically happens with your application/process.
Best to you.

That means that my OWP will take longer to arrive than before when I had visitor status? You're in implied status meaning you're legally residing in Canada.
You may resend your application, just make sure to include proof you applied for extension before your visa expires
technically no because you still have visitor status (though implied but still legal) and not out-of-statusThat means that my OWP will take longer to arrive than before when I had visitor status?

Fingers crossed that all will turn out okay!Thank you so much. I just called them few minutes ago and the lady said that either file might be returned or might get transferred to Mississauga. Yes. Hopefully. But still curious if anyone else have same situation?Fingers crossed that all will turn out okay!
Thanks .I remember sending in some stuff that was double sided printed and it wasn’t returned to me. The order of placing your documents, I have read, is only to make life a bit easier (and faster) for the agent, but is not seen as an error. Still, it’s the guideline that they give you and should be followed, hence speeding up the process. But again, I don’t think, from reading on this forum, that it’s a reason for your application being sent back to you.
We will be soon next Vivian! I’m April 26th now, after my OWP got returned.A friend of mine(not me), just received a message from his account, he got his OWP.
He is April 5th applicant. But CIC got his date wrong, it said his file started processing at March 30.
So which means this week for OWp, CIC is working on end of March.
I know someone did the same as you, when she resend her OWP, she also included an explain and reminded CIC her file was sent out one month before, so she got the case processing time same as the original time. I wonder how was yours? We will be soon next Vivian! I’m April 26th now, after my OWP got returned.
This is normal for inland apps, review of eligibility wont change until around 11 months after the date your app was received. The next thing you will see will be the medical request after around 6-7 months, then more waiting until around month 11-12 before the app is finalised.Hi,
I received AOR on March 15, and CIC only requested the Schedule A form. I submitted the form on March 16. I haven't heard anything back since then. I log in to my account to check if there is any update. But none of my application status has changed, even for review of eligibility. Does anybody have the same situation?
