How can you say , background check has started? My status says, your application is in process and we will let you know once we start the background check.

On the post dated Wednesday you mentioned your status as below:

Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

If this is your status then BG check is started.

I think there is some confusion. My status never showed background check has started.
Also, I think the MR comes before the BG check starts ?

So you had mentioned it , so it created confusion.

For indians its always MR first and then BG.. but for others its possible for BG first and then MR.. If you go through all post you will get an idea..

hello guys i have a question i mentioned two different addresses in my application so now i am changing my residential address but my mailing address(Work address) is still same my question is do i still need to inform cic if yes how exactly?
please help!

It is always better to keep them updated by CSE.
I suggest you to just send a case specific enquiry to CIC informing the changes and update with new address.

04 June 2018 Canada's new medical inadmissibility rules now in effect
IRCC said the new rules apply to any foreign national (principal applicant and family members) with a temporary or permanent resident application that was received on or after April 16, 2018 or was pending as of that date, was sent back by the Court for redetermination on or after April 16, 2018

Ray of hope for all waiting for MR . They might start issuing MR to Outland applicants now.
