Waiting for MR

Called CIC today asking what exactly they are doing with my app and said that they are doing my criminality check. Just have to wait for update. How long is MR?

Hi jehan.emporio, we have a very similar timeline. My AOR is 15 Feb 2018.

Did you ask then about your eligibility and security status as well? Or do they need to finish criminality first before they continue with the rest of the background checks?

got e-mail AOR(File number) - Feb 14
linked file - Feb 15

and still waiting for MR (medical request)

these days,
many people who applied last Oct-Dec 2017 are receiving MR.

I hope we (early 2018) get MR within 2 months.

lastly, Did anyone get a reminder e-mail from CIC??

when I applied PR, I paid $1,040.
someone who paid everything did not get a reminder e-mail.

so I wonder If a reminder e-mail is necessary or not.

As i checked thread and forums, they said eligibility status will stay like that until ircc made decisions. The contact agent did'nt told me about my security check and have no idea about the order of their process.

Good morning guys, I know so weird but today I received pre arrival letter from CIC . I didn’t finish medical exam yet.

BC PNP inland paper based.
Oct 20 received application,
Feb 9 AOR,
May 15 Medical request,
May 19 Pre arrival letter.

Waiting next step... hopefully it will not takes so long time.

My friend who applied on Dec 15, AOR Feb 6 got MR last Friday, so maybe end of this month, you will get MR

No update after that.

Waiting for medical request...

One of my friend with AOR -02nd feb 2018 got a medical last week. I am expecting our medical request this month. Finger crossed..
