Hi there,

Any news? I have no updates on PR app since November 2021 (see above). On December 31, 2021 I got a new BOWP (2-year validity).

My counselor told me wait till 4 year anniversary (it will be in May 2022), then hire an immigration lawyer and sue IRCC. The more I wait the more chances to win a case. Unfortunately, litigation may take 1.5-2 years.

After almost 4 years of wait and lots of paperwork I got my PPR on March 8 2022 AOR May 7th 2018. Landed this Saturday and tomorrow my dependants are coming. There’s always hope. Wish you best of luck!

Hi did you received your PR

No. I hired a lawyer in Feb and we filed a mandamus application to the federal court.

On May 11 was my 4th "anniversary". No updates in my account since Nov 2021.

My lawyer emailed me with the news IRCC finished security screening that took 3 years. "IRCC is actively working on my file", he added.

I got an email "Your application for permanent residence has been approved".
Processing took 4 years, 1 month and 13 days.

Congrats, can you post the timeline of your Mandamus application? I'm also in the process, 1 month in.

Congrats, Could you share lawyer details ? i am outside Canada PR applicant ( Paper based - PNP) AoR 03/2018 and last contact was 07/2020( Application in interview Queue) and then nothing up to date.
