Hello Saurav

This is Supriya from British Airways we spoke this morning!!

Hope you're doing well. As per our previous conversation I would love to know more on how to go about it. Example: work experience// ilets score// show money ///studies///. One of my friend has applied and its taking quite lot of time so how can I bypass that!

Cheers!
Supriya

Hi Supriya,
The application process for permanent residency is simple as well as typical. If one presents papers and prepares the file professionally then the whole thing can be really seamless.

The quickest PR (post application transmission) I have seen is in 17 odd days. Knowledge about the process is the key to everything here.

On the simpler aspects of your profile that I could guess from the miniscule conversation we had is, that you have good command on the language and obviously are working in a reputed organisation. You have bright chances in express entry Canada if you wish to give it a try.

This process will start with giving IELTS exam and getting your education assessed by a recognised assessing authority. This will take about 1.5 months. After this you will be a candidate in the pool of candidates for express entry fortnightly draw.

If you manage to score good points for you profile you get selected you will be awarded an ITA (invitation to apply). There on you arrange all required papers in accordance with your profile and present them. This will take about 1 month.

After transmission of your application (post ITA) the things could be as fast as 17 days or max 180 days.

I have been an unofficial tracker/advisor here on Canada visa threads. My judgement says that it should take you 4-5 months in total if everything is well calculated while doing the do-able of express entry.

For your friend, kindly ask him/her to contact and provide me the application timelines and I can give the probable sucess date based upon my experiences. Most delays have been for two reason, improper paper work or getting stuck at new Delhi visa office (post August 2017).

Please feel free to ask anything else that comes to your mind.

Thanks for the read

Hi brother
can you please share whatsapp group link for NDVO applicants. My AOR is 9th October and I am waiting on ADNR since 24th Nov.

Hi Saurab , post August applicants are struck due to full utilisation of annual quota or some other reason at ndls.

Hi Saurab , post August applicants are struck due to full utilisation of annual quota or some other reason at ndls.
On 22/8 ndvo went out of chronology and at that point of time application age was averaging to be 100-120 days at ndvo.
The main reasons were....

Lima points were lowered.. all kabootarbaj went the students visa way... Results in 1.5 lac students visa applications (more than twice what they use to process)

Trump's motor mouth added to the troubles... Causing students to give preference to Canada instead of US for September intake.

What we later heard was that out of the 12 avalaiable visa officers all were diverted to students visa except the travel visa officers. They could afford to do so as they had a leverage of 180 days and anyways students are number one priority. Students bring in big revenue and are a gullible work force.

So as we all saw the output for us family and economic class visa stopped on 22/8 ....
Then on Nov 1 we saw movement.. and 16/11 the ppr flood..
After the flood we see that they have 3.2 lac inward.. well over years target... And the pending files were still within 180 days limits...
Yes the completion of targets is the reason for zero movement.. only those people are getting ppr now (who are snatching it from them with proactive emails and cse upon completion of 180 days)

We are now a good inventory to have ... As almost all these pending files are riped ... And now deemed to become a part of 2018 intakes...

Don't worry you all.. your files are good.. if there was something wrong in them... Wouldn't they would have been disposed off already?... It's only the wait till new year...

Have a little fun with family in these holidays... Forget about the pprs till Jan first week... You guys have already given a lot of blood to this.. you deserve a break...

Best of luck
