Nope, 12 months has passed for us and no news yet.

Hey Guys,

I have the Canadian passport and I am sponsoring my husband. We both live in Lebanon.

My timeline:
- April 5: Application Received
- April 6: Medical requested April 6! (only 1 day later)
- May 15: Interview

Police certificates sent within that period as well as receipt of Quebec Acceptance.

Now the application had not moved since May 15 (7 months)

Is this normal?

Hello Stephanie yes this is normal after medical and interview they start the background checks and it takes for Lebanese up to 6 months.

Most of the application take up to 12 months dear so no worries and if you want u can join our group on whatsapp

Always check your junk mail, and if you have a gmail account, check this program called 'BoxBe' sometimes it prevents emails from going into your inbox. It happened with us and we missed an interview
