Are you in Quebec ?! If you are in quebec you have to submit the MIDI to beirut VO otherwise everything will continue Within the government process...

Yes am applying to sponsor my wife & 2 kids. I am in quebec. In my DM letter that i received from IRCC, they sent 2 application forms to be filled & sent to the visa office in Beirut. I contacted the VO for appointment but they said they don’t do applications for permanent residence.

Jaafar the application form are they for Immigration Québec ?!? For your kids you can give them the Canadian citizenships if I am not wrong, you have only to sponsor your wife, but you need to be in Canada to Apply

PGP used to take up to 4 years sometimes more. Many of last year's PGP applications took between 1-2 years but this year they are processing PGP much faster. Hard to estimate.

I guess we should consider ourselves lucky! Our files reached Beirut early this week and today we received this email!

Any idea if this means we moving pretyynfast or is it pretty standard to get this email a few days after your application reaching the visa office?

Yes i am applying to sponsor my wife. IRCC requested some forms to be filled & submited to visa office in beirut. All the requested forms are ready but i have no Idea where she should submit them. My wife went to the visa office in beirut but they didn’t accept the file “its not their responsibility” they replied.
My question is: how to book an appointment at the cnadian embassy in beirut to submit the file?
