Hi , May I ask a question about the status of my case .
ECAS shows that they started to process my case on Sep 6th 2016 but I have not received AOR or any email or mail from CIC so far. May I ask what is this mean? They did not activate my case yet?Thank you

Incorrect email ID or mail passed to spam.

This happened to me as well. I did not receive any AOR email from IRCC although I sent my email. I searched in my junk emails, nothing. But my ECAS is in process. I called and asked them , they had no answer for that.

Thank you for your answer. Just wondering what should I do right now? Incorrect email means CIC couldn't contact to me, so I could not get any feedback from them?Thank you

No dont worry about that. If you are going to make sure they have your email, you can call the call centre at 1-888-242-2100 and make sure they have your email address. That's what I did and I made sure they have my email address.

Though my PR card due date for renewal is only next year, I have been following this forum for some months about the renewal process. The 2nd question I have is when CBSA can track the entry and exit then, isn't there travel history report enough to determine the days in Canada? Or is there something missing out in that report?

The CBSA can track the Entries only. Exits are not traceable.

But the request form to CBSA says exits from 2013 or some date is available.

As per my knowledge, only recently, exits are traceable by CBSA, not since 2013

Traveller exit information is also available in a limited capacity but applies only to foreign nationals entering the United States from Canada on or after June 30, 2013.- From CBSA Website.
Apart from this, I read somewhere that the airlines pass on the exit details too. I am not too sure since when the airlines have started doing that.

does anyone know how much time it takes for card printing and dispatch?.

I have requested urgent processing and attached my ticket and payment details. do they reply on if urgent processing possible?

whammy2008 - did you also list a reason why you are asking for urgent processing?

Can other members chime in if they have sent for urgent processing? Did you include a reason - etc doctor's note, treatment, employer's letter etc for urgent processing?

Does CIC care if there is a reason for urgent processing?

I just mentioned that I have tickets booked and attached my ticket, payment receipt and credit card receipt. My card has been sent for printing so was hoping if they speed that up..

It's all written in the instructions. Moreover, absence is absence. Out of Canada for 1 second, means you were absent for 1 second. As simple as that.
