Hello everyone. My hubby's PR card is finally complete (as per ecas)
Old PR card expiry was February 2016. Elie's right. I guess they're prioritizing applications whose PR cards have already expired
Processing time: 68 days (including weekends & holidays)

Here's the timeline:
June 27- Application received
Aug 5 - AOR
Aug 6 - Started processing
Sept 1 - Application approved
Sept 6 - PR card mailed

Now we're waiting for pr card in the mail. Good luck to everyone! Hope you get yours soon

We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on August 9, 2016.
We started processing your application on August 9, 2016.
Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on September 7, 2016.

Started processing 21 july
Still in process till now and my old pr iv valied till feb 2017

Hi I applied for my citizenship last June and have done the Citizenship test, then required to fill residency form, then.....silence. My PR card expired June this year and I re-applied as I cant travel without it. Its Sep 12th and havent heard from them either. Can anyone advise?

PR Card Renewal is taking 3 months, if the application is routine, i.e. no additional requests.
