I don't want to scare you guys but many things went wrong with my urgent processing application and would like to share with you.
I really hope this doesn't happen to any of you...
-1st urgent application sent on January 7, 2016; received by CPC Sydney, NS on January 12, 2016
*No updates showed up on ECAS so talked to a call centre agent on February 9, 2016, was told they can't find my application data on their system
-2nd urgent application sent (explaining how my 1st application went missing) on February 10, 2016; received by CPC Sydney, NS on February 16, 2016
-AOR In Email-----February 17, 2016
-Started Processing -----February 18, 2016; showed up on ECAS on February 23, 2016
*Noticed CIC made a typo error with my home address on ECAS, and changed the address online on February 23, 2016 (should have called them instead...
)
-Request For PR Card Approved-----February 19, 2016
-ECAS Changed to Decision made-----February 25, 2016
*Didn't receive my PR card for a few weeks and talked to call centre agents multiple times, was told my card was sent out on February 23, 2016 to the wrong address and CIC can't do anything about it until 6 weeks pass from that date
*Cancelled my trip on March 16, 2016 and lost non-refundable airtickets
-Card Received In Mail at the wrong address (wrong unit in the same building)-----March 22, 2016
