Just received an email today June 6th 2016 (6:00 am).
"...This confirms that your application for your Permanent Resident card has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2016/04/11...."

My application was sent via Canad Post (express service) on April 8th 2016.

eCAS does not show any update about PR card process.
On the other hand a process for Citizenship grant was started at the same time, only the citizenship process information appears in eCAS (test scheduled for June 20th).

Usually it takes 3-4 days for eCAS to show this update.

Our ECAS for PR card still shows -in process! we got our cards on April 13th.

just got our renewed PR cards in the mail!! Happy surprise!!
CIC received application Jan 29th,
started processing Mar 17th,
(no further updates to status on ECAS)
received cards (family of 4) today April 13th.

Kat (my friend) told me that she sent a message to CIC, telling them that she came back (home to Canada), and two days later she got an email being told that CIC had verified her information and that they're processing her application.

:)

Hi All,

Today, I received an email to show up at the local CIC office in order to pick up my new card. I went there and received it.
My application was received on Feb 22, 2016 and they started processing my application on March 27, 2016.
It is interesting that e-CAS is still showing that my application In Process!!.

I hope that everyone else waiting for his/her card gets it soon ...

All the best

Many thanks ASAINI

In my case, it took a bit longer than other applicants. Yet, I am really happy now that my waiting is over now and I received it.

Thanks again and I wish you best of luck :) :)

Hello,

Just one thing to mention in this thread.

Today, my e-CAS was updated for my PR application with Decision Made. It is mentioned there that my application was approved on April 19, 2016.

Thanks for everything guys and wish you best of luck.

Where are you guys checking the status of your PR cards online? Do you use the same UCI as the PR application or something else?

@Outlandish

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do?lang=en&_ga=1.43325292.877737930.1456180166

If you got a UCI you just put in the numbers.... login and you'll know what to do!

cheers!

My timeline is as follows:

- June 17: PR Renewal file Delivered.

Waiting for AOR

PR card renewal time lines as follows:

Sent through Canada post on the 20th April
received @ Sydney , NS office on the 26th April

Have not heard anything since then.

Still not heard anything. No AOR received neither is there an update on ECAS when I search through my PR card number.
Has anyone else experienced this? 2 Months since the application was received at NS office and no updates since then.

Usually how long it will take to receive the AOR email. IRCC have received my PR file renewal on June 17. when do I expect to receive their email?

My daughter's PR card renewal application reached NS IRCC office on April 25. No AOR! It seems to be a norm rather than an exception.

Hi ,

Given the timelines in this thread, it is taking 2 months (and sometimes more) before sending the AOR email. But the good thing is that once AOR email is received the IRCC will start processing 2 to 4 days after.
This is what I have observed from the above timelines.

Kindest Regards,
